Scott J. Winslow began work in the collectibles field in the late 1970's as a cataloguer and researcher for a prominent mail auction house specializing in Americana. After graduating from the University of New Hampshire's Whittemore School of Business & Economics in 1983, he founded his own firm, Scott J. Winslow Associates, Inc and has been a full time, professional dealer in autographs and historical documents since 1985.

Over the past four decades we have been actively handling a wide variety of historical American collectibles specializing in autographs, manuscripts, stocks and bonds, paper money and a wide variety of historical americana. Since 1985, we have successfully served an extensive client base, including museums, libraries, universities, and private collectors. We have paid many millions of dollars for documents, ranging from one piece to major collections involving thousands of items.

As one of the nation's leading authorities in business history, we have conducted numerous mail, phone and public auctions of historical documents and Americana including many sales with a special emphasis on business and financial history. Throughout the years we have produced more than one hundred large catalogs in addition to numerous special price lists.  Additionally, Mr. Winslow travels extensively to shows and conventions throughout the United States and Europe keeping abreast of the ever-changing marketplace. 
 
Mr. Winslow's experience and expertise has attracted many prominent clients; when the New York Stock Exchange needed to have their archives appraised and evaluated in 2005, they turned to Scott Winslow to provide the expertise they needed. Mr. Winslow has also worked with the Pabst family to evaluate and appraise the personal papers of Frederick Pabst, the prominent brewer, as well as with countless private collectors seeking to donate their holdings to a variety of institutions.  

Mr. Winslow is currently, and has been a member of numerous dealer and collector organizations dedicated to Autographs, Manuscripts, Bonds and Shares, Paper Money, Coins and many other areas of collecting. Through the years he as served in a number of officerships in some of these organizations. Beyond his membership in these various groups, Scott is also a licensed auctioneer in New Hampshire [License #4002].
